One tablet can receive restaurant orders
A restaurant ordering system does not have to be complicated. With Modern Resto, you can keep one tablet at the counter or in the dining room and see orders arrive in real time. Guests scan the QR code, choose dishes, select an authorized table and send the request to the team.
This workflow is built for restaurants that want something simple: no forced online payment, no POS migration, just a clear interface to manage table service.
Two screens if your team needs them
For a small restaurant, one tablet may be enough. For a busier team, one tablet can receive new orders while another tablet manages table status. The dashboard shows occupied tables, new orders and tables that are ready to release.
- New order means the team can accept the request.
- Paid table means the table can be released after checkout.
- Cancelled order can also be released after the team confirms it.
- Released table starts from zero for the next guests.
A touch-friendly and intuitive GUI
The table service dashboard is designed to be readable on a tablet: larger cards, touch-friendly buttons, visible table summaries and clear actions. A non-technical staff member should understand what to do during service without training.
Each restaurant sets its real table numbers, limited to 3 for now. Guests do not type a random number; they choose an authorized table, which keeps orders clean and reduces mistakes.
Built to work beside your POS
Modern Resto is not a POS system. You still take payment with your existing checkout. The app receives order requests, organizes table status and gives simple statistics such as most ordered dishes and estimated revenue.
