Frequently asked questions
Is Modern Resto really free?
Yes. The digital menu, QR code, PDF, order taking, kitchen screen and statistics are free. No subscription, no commission on your sales, no credit card to start.
Does it replace my POS?
No. Modern Resto processes no payments. You take payment with your usual card reader or register, then mark the table “paid” in the app to release it.
Do I need to install an app?
No. Everything runs in a browser, on a phone, tablet or computer. Your guests install nothing either: they scan the QR code and the menu opens.
How do guests reach my menu?
Through a printable QR code or a link you share on Google, Instagram or your website. The link and the QR never change, even when you edit the menu.
Can I run several restaurants and a team?
Yes. Each restaurant has its own menu, tables and team. You invite staff by Google account with a limited role — floor or kitchen — or give them a PIN for a shared tablet.
