What we store about you
Your name, email address and profile picture, as provided by Google when you sign in. We never see your Google password: sign-in happens at Google, which passes us only those details.
Your data
Your name, email address and profile picture, as provided by Google when you sign in. We never see your Google password: sign-in happens at Google, which passes us only those details.
Your restaurant content: name, address, hours, dishes, prices, photos, theme, tables and ordering settings. This becomes public as soon as you publish your menu — that is the point of the link and the QR code.
When order taking is on: the table number, the dishes ordered, the amount, the timestamp, the status and the first name of the team member who entered it. For online orders, also the phone, address and city the guest gives for delivery.
Shared-tablet PINs are never stored in readable form: we keep only a hashed fingerprint, which cannot be turned back into the code. We cannot tell you a forgotten PIN — the profile has to be recreated.
No payment data. Modern Resto processes no payments, never sees a bank card and records no transaction: marking a table “paid” is a service note, nothing more.
We use Google Analytics to count visits in anonymised form, only if you accept it in the cookie banner. Strictly necessary cookies keep you signed in and secure the site.
A restaurant owner sees everything about their own restaurant. Invited members only see their screen: floor or kitchen. Guests only see the published menu, never your dashboard.
You can delete a restaurant at any time from the dashboard, or delete your account entirely from your profile menu at the bottom of the sidebar. Deleting the account removes your restaurants, menus and orders. Published menus stop being reachable immediately and printed QR codes stop working.
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data by writing to us. If you are in the European Union, you also have the right to object and the right to data portability.
