A free QR code menu that is actually useful for restaurants
When you run a restaurant, every cost matters. But a modern menu should not force you into a paid subscription before you can even test the tool. Modern Resto lets you create a free restaurant QR code menu: add your dishes, prices and photos, then publish a mobile-friendly menu ready to share.
Your guests scan the QR code at the table, the menu opens on their phone, and you can update dishes or prices anytime without reprinting the QR code.
What is free with Modern Resto
- Online digital menu — a mobile page for your restaurant, sections and dishes.
- Menu QR code — a printable QR code for tables, windows, flyers or receipts.
- Unlimited updates — change a price, dish or photo without changing the link.
- PDF menu — create a printable version for guests who prefer paper.
- Google review QR code — turn your Google Maps link into a QR code for more reviews.
- Menu themes — choose a visual identity that fits your restaurant style.
Why a free QR menu matters
Many restaurant owners simply want to see whether a digital menu works for them. A free tool removes the risk: create a first version, print the QR, test it in your dining room, then improve it with real customer feedback.
For a small restaurant, cafe, snack bar or food truck, this is often the easiest start: no designer, no developer, no reprinting every time a price changes.
How to create your free QR code menu
- Open Modern Resto and add your restaurant name.
- Create your categories: starters, mains, desserts, drinks or set menus.
- Add dishes with price, description, photo and allergens when needed.
- Choose a theme that matches your place.
- Publish the menu and download the QR code.
- Print the QR code for your tables or counter.
Benefits for your restaurant
- Lower printing costs — keep the same QR code even when the menu changes.
- Fewer mistakes — online prices stay up to date.
- Better guest experience — the menu is readable on mobile, with photos and descriptions.
- More visibility — share the same link on Instagram, Google Business Profile or your website.
- More Google reviews — add a review QR code at the end of the meal.
Free does not mean basic
A free menu can still look professional. Modern Resto gives restaurants a solid base: digital menu, QR code, PDF, themes, photos and shareable links. Start simple, then improve your online presence step by step.
